Opus Archive provides a searchable research index and digital reproductions of the October 1968 Malta Government Gazette electoral register organised by locality. Customers may view watermarked preview pages for a locality and select one or two original-resolution pages for delivery. The service is independent and unofficial.
Price, transaction documents and contract
The displayed price is €29.95 inclusive of applicable VAT for the one or two pages identified before checkout. The front page of the 30 October 1968 Malta Government Gazette is included free with every order. A contract is formed when payment is accepted. Stripe processes payment and provides hosted transaction documentation and a payment receipt using the billing and tax information supplied by the customer. The precise fiscal document issued depends on the customer and transaction details and applicable Maltese VAT requirements. The customer receives the selected pages and complimentary Gazette front page by email, time-limited download links and document links after payment. Customers must provide accurate billing, tax and email information.
Digital content and cancellation
The purchase supplies digital content immediately. Delivery begins only after the customer expressly requests immediate delivery and acknowledges that, once delivery begins, the customer loses the right to cancel the delivery. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights where the content is faulty, incomplete, misdescribed or not supplied.
Permitted use
Purchased scans may be used for personal, professional, historical, genealogical, property or legal research. Users must not use the service to harass, discriminate against, profile, identify or target living individuals; compile person-based databases; conduct bulk extraction; defeat access controls; or misrepresent a scan as a certified or newly issued government document.
Accuracy and evidence
OCR, street matching, historical spellings and page-range selection can contain errors. Users must inspect the original scan and verify any critical conclusion with the relevant public authority or archive. Acceptance by the Planning Authority, a court, notary or other body is not guaranteed.
Availability and liability
We will use reasonable care to provide the service, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Liability is not excluded where exclusion is prohibited, including for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those protections, Opus Archive is not responsible for decisions made without independent verification of the source.
